A Lada exploding in traffic

Strange things happen on the roads of Russia. Thanks to the recordings of dashcams uploaded to file sharing sites the world has marvelled at videos of mating cattle being run over, a biker saving a kid, a small car knowing no obstacles and numerous other spectacles. A Lada Samara spontaneously exploding in traffic was long due.

Although the cause of the explosion is unknown, my guess is that the gas tank fitted in the passenger compartment gave out. Maybe the LPG conversion wasn't done professionally. The two guys sitting in the front were lucky that the Lada exploded while driving at low speed, though, and probably got away with suffering hearing loss. Now imagine the same thing happening at 80-90 km/h.
