The once beloved commuter BMW abandoned in a river more than 20 years ago is little more than a pile of rust by now but still sold on eBay.

You’ve just finished designing the BMW X5 and off you go to start the next project: designing a yacht, the bottle of a mouthwash, a pair of running shoes, a Nokia, or a new coffee machine for Starbucks.

As typical of a long-serving automotive journalist he worked at nearly all of the major printed automotive magazines in Hungary before ending up on the internet. More of the new cartester type, he’s also an automotive engineer by profession. Although he’s the editor in chief
of the mother magazine, totalcar.hu, he loves doubling as a photographer – we sometimes
think he made a mistake when choosing titles. Has a wife and a small daughter.

Our heavyweight champion, Balázs, or better known as Assur on the premises is the news writer of the mother site, totalcar.hu. Oh yes, he’s an automotive engineer too. They say there isn’t a data that has ever escaped his mind, all we know is that he can drop into any conversation about any car that was made after the war, and he’ll be able to add a ton of details you won’t ever be able to find in books. He has been thinking of selling his longserving Volvo for years, so he always has some used car adverts open on his computer, just in case. Has a wife and two (almost grown-up) children.

He can be called anytime, anywhere to lend a helping hand, and he’ll be there in an hour with one of his Transits for sure. No more BMW for this bloke

Originally priced at slightly over 100,000 Euros, today you can pick up a 2006 BMW M6 for less than one third of that. There are plenty of cars on sale to choose from, many appearing to be well kept, with low mileage to boot. Too nice to be true? Exactly.
